General Terms and Conditions (AGB)

The following general terms and conditions apply to all registrations or bookings for courses offered by Karin Giese (hereinafter referred to as the provider), which are made in writing, by e-mail, by digital message (online form, SMS), verbally or by telephone. By ticking the GTC box when registering/booking, you accept the general terms and conditions.

  1. Registration/Booking

Registration/booking is usually carried out online. The registration/booking is binding. You will receive a confirmation of registration by email. Places are allocated in the order in which registrations are received and, in the case of the advanced course, after checking the participation requirements.

  • About the organization

The provider reserves the right to postpone dates or times, or to cancel a course if there are too few registrations. In this case, you will be informed by email within a reasonable period of time. All payments already made will be refunded. There are no further claims.

  • Deregistrations

You must cancel your registration in writing (by letter or e-mail with read receipt, not by telephone) and the following fees will be charged:

  • up to 90 days before the start: 10% of the course fees
  • up to 30 days before the start: 50% of the course fees
  • up to 14 days or less before the start: 100% of the course fees.

100% of the course fees are due in any case if the course has already started.

If a substitute participant is named who fulfills the requirements for participation, 90% of the course fees will be refunded up to the day before the course begins.

  • Payment arrangement

Payment is made by bank transfer after invoicing.

  • Missed parts of a course

Missed parts of a course cannot be made up. In principle, no pro rata refunds of course costs are possible due to missed parts of a course.

  • Secrecy

The handouts are handed out exclusively for use by the course participant. They may not be passed on or made accessible in any other way.

  • Insurance

Insurance cover during the course is the responsibility of the participant. All liability is excluded for all courses conducted by the provider. The provider expressly recommends appropriate insurance cover, e.g. in the form of seminar cancellation insurance.

  • Data protection

By registering, you agree that the provider may use your data (personal data, booked events, etc.) for its own purposes (advertising, information about new offers, etc.). The provider will not pass on your data to third parties without your express consent, with the exception of the respective speakers (name, profession, contact details, booked courses).

  • Program and prices

We reserve the right to make changes to the program and prices as well as changes to the General Terms and Conditions.
