Emotional support

For questions that go beyond pure breastfeeding advice

Sometimes the need for advice for young parents goes beyond breastfeeding advice.

That’s why I offer emotional support for mothers, fathers and couples .

I focus on each family individually.

Emotional counseling

As a non-medical practitioner for psychotherapy, I accompany and support families in coping with challenging phases in everyday life and finding ways out of emotional crises. I work according to the basic principles of Carl Rogers, who developed his talk therapy based on empathy, appreciation and congruence.

My own experiences as a non-medical practitioner for psychotherapy, as a Lactation Specialist and also as a mother take a back seat. Instead, we discuss the changed life situation with baby, toddler or older children, get to the bottom of possible crisis points and examine which solutions could be helpful for the individual family.

The issue of the desire to have children is also frequently raised and together we find ways to discuss this topic, which is charged with many emotions, and to find solutions to problems and conflicts that arise in the couple and relationship.

The basic idea is that every family already has the solution within itself – my role is to accompany this process of realization.
