Each family can find its own way to grow together.
Susanne Mierau
My name is Karin Pokorny (formerly Giese) and I live with only two of my four children in Unterföhring near Munich. Before my current parental leave, I worked for many years as an HR specialist for a large Munich-based company.
I fulfilled my desire for a new role by training as a certified course instructor for baby massage at the DGBM e. V., as a Lactation Specialist at the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Freier Stillgruppen e. V. and later also by training as a breastfeeding support worker (DAIS).
I enjoy and am touched when I am able to accompany young parents as they embark on this new phase of their lives.
Since January 2021, I have been practicing as a breastfeeding and lactation consultant (IBCLC) after further extensive training.

The focus of my work as a breastfeeding consultant is on advising and supporting complex breastfeeding issues.
These include, for example
Of course, my experience in these areas is always incorporated into my current consultations – if it is appropriate and supports you in your concerns.
In my case, there is no homeopathy and no Schüssler salts, whose effect does not go beyond the placebo and placebo-by-proxy effect according to the study situation
and my personal experience.
Placebo-by-proxy is the name given to the effect that can be observed in children and animals.
In practical terms, this means for my patients:
My primary aim is to intervene at an early stage with small measures in order to prevent medical treatment in the best case or to accompany it.
With my qualified further training as a non-medical practitioner for psychotherapy, I have been able to offer additional emotional guidance and support for young parents and couples since mid-2017, since June 2021 in my practice in Ismaning.
I have also been working as a naturopath since December 2021.
